It doesnt work due to some amazing software it doesnt work due to a shitty developer not caring about the security of their users computers, Data or personal info and not fixing vulnerabilities despite multiple update. You do have an option to use your software when not playing valorant and that is to close vanguard. They cant make an exception for it because then they would all use it to get their cheats/hacks in. Just because you wont doesnt mean someone else wont. The fact remains they have vulnerabilities in them which cheats/hacks use. Instead of defaulting fans to 100% to preserve their users hardwate whilst also letting them know something is wrong, they choose to make shit software that if anything happens o it then it shuts down your computers cooling. To highlight just how shit this software is many users are reporting when the software is closed by vanguard the software defaults fans to off. Even though their users privacy, data and security should Al be enough. It also has the added bonus of making these companies consider actually fixing their software vulnerabilities because they now stand to lose users. You choose to do that just like you can choose to play valorant or not play it.Įxpect Vangaurd to be rolled out to all riots products and then I wouldn't be suprised if other developers jump on board given how much harder it makes it for cheat developers. You don't news to monitor your fan speeds, change your lightning, watch your temps on your everyday gaming computer. You should contact the developer of the software and inform them it's now interfering with yiu ability to use the computer as well as been a massive security risk. If yiu want to play valorant you need to not use that software and many others. The fact people complained Vangaurd could be potentially exploited if a vulnerability was found yet so many have these shitty monitoring softwares for their computers with publicly known vulnerabilities is the iceing on the cake. Riot have decided its time they clamped down and instead of leaving this gates open for people to attack their client and playerbase they figured they will now prevent it from running alongside its games. Its also well known it has massive security vilnerabities that allow cheaters and Hackers to break into it and use that to modify game clients or potential scoop your data if they like.
